Principles of Information Design is
one of the core courses in a certificate program in Information
Design offered by the Universit of Toronto's Continuing Education
Department. Jane developed the course in 1999 and taught it until
2002 (The University continues to offer the course).
Principles of Information Design defines what
information design is and addresses several major areas involved
in the production of good information products, including visual
design, human factors, usability, and content.
